Free. iOS 26 or later on any iPhone or iPad. Works with the DRM-free EPUB, Kindle, FictionBook, PDF, text and Markdown files you already own.

A new reading experience

Watch your Duo turn into a book. A literary chef-d’œuvre in the palm of your hand.

Read with your friends

A book club with friends. Everyone's little worm to keep progress. Tap the worms to see the chapter, how far ahead or behind, and whether they're reading right now.

Notes without spoilers

Highlight, comment and react on any passage. Friends only see your notes once they reach that line. The Spoiler Shield is on by default, and you can peek whenever you like.

Fall into the Wormhole

Each book you read together is a story and journey saved for you to revisit and enjoy again.

How it works

Three steps, one minute. Clubs can be two people or twenty.

  1. 1

    Start your book club

Name your club and send friends (or strangers!) a link. They join you in one tap.

  2. 2

    Choose the book to read

Choose the book, from the Wormies marketplace or bringing your own. Each person chooses their own copy from Files. Wormies checks the copies match and tells you if they don't.

  3. 3

    Read, annotate, discuss, react, together!

Read at your own pace. Leave a thought on a line. Watch the club catch up, and nudge the one who hasn't. Just have fun and truly enjoy reading again.

What's inside

The Wormies Marketplace

Free books from Project Gutenberg and Standard Ebooks. One tap to download, one more to start a club session.

Your own worm

Build your worm, then leave a surprise on a page: it squiggles in with a note when a friend gets there.

Looking back

Finish a book and fall into the Wormhole: the best-loved lines, who finished first, and a thread that stays open.

Your reading log

Mark where you stopped, with a thought if you like, and see how you read. Private to you.
